As the landscape begins to shift from lush green to sun- bleached tones, we enter the early stages of the dry season, a perfect time to explore the African bush.

Why this is the best time for a bush safari:

✅ Thinner vegetation: As the bush dries out, spotting wildlife becomes much easier.

✅ Cooler temperatures: Pleasant mornings and evenings make for comfortable game drives.

✅ Photographer’s dream: The soft, golden light and dry landscape create a stunning natural canvas for photography.

During the dry season, wildlife becomes more concentrated around remaining water sources.

As temporary ponds and streams dry up, animals are drawn to permanent waterholes, especially in the afternoons and early evenings- offering incredible wildlife sightings.

1️⃣ Serengeti National Park (Northern Circuit)

With its short grass and sparse vegetation, the Serengeti offers clear views of predators and grazing animals alike.

⌛️This is a great time to witness part of the Great Migration as herds move toward the northern corridor, crossing the Mara River- a dramatic and iconic safari moment.

🎯 This season is popular, so expect larger crowds.

2️⃣ Ruaha National Park (Southern Circuit)

Off the beaten path, Ruaha transforms beautifully in the dry season.

The parched bushland offers wide visibility and easier access to remote areas of the park.

✨ You’ll enjoy a more exclusive safari experience with fewer crowds, giving you a real sense of wilderness.

Mid of June is simply one of the best time to experience the magic of an African safari.
